“Exceptional”

This was one of the best places I have ever rented. Comfortable, stylish, spacious, and in a wonderful location. Highly recommend.

"SPOTLESS & VERY STYLISH"

Great location in the centre of Bridport but still a quiet spot during our stay. Everything you need for a short stay. Only 2 miles from West Bay and nearby beaches.

"Superb THEATRE IN THE BUILDING NEXT DOOR"

Make sure you read everything that Katie says in the description before you come and you will have a wonderful stay in a lovely place. In the town centre, but easy walking distance from some stunning country and a very short drive away in any direction from fantastic walking. Bridport is truly amazing for its absurdly large menu of cultural events of all types. We had superb theatre in the building next door, the Electric Palace is not just a cinema but a work of art, and on getting back from a long walk we dropped in during mid-afternoon for a drink at a pub and were treated to very high quality live blues. And the food available in the restaurants is superb.

“Beautiful & LUXURIOUS APARTMENT”

We just stayed here for 3 nights and couldn’t recommend it enough. We stayed in the first floor apartment and it’s spacious, light and beautifully decorated. The bed is very comfortable, there’s a large tub in the bedroom, twin sinks and a rain shower in the bathroom and a fantastic lounge and kitchen. Everything is done to a very high standard with crisp linens and walls painted in soft greys and whites. The apartment is well located in the centre of town, just a 10 min drive from a number of beautiful beaches. We made the most of Katie’s recommendations for eating out and had a lovely, relaxing few days.

“i could HAVE MOVED IN”

"We spent 7 days in this little hideaway and had a fantastic time. It Is exactly like the photographs beautiful and well kept. I could have moved in permanently! Katie thought of everything you may need including a welcoming bottle of prosecco!
It's in a lovely little square in Bridport which we loved. Highly recommend the market on Saturday/Wednesday the fresh fruit and vegetables are the best I've had"

“PERFECT IN EVERY WAY”

" We stayed at this gorgeous apartment for our 20th wedding anniversary. We are no strangers to Dorset and wanted somewhere central and stylish. It's furnished to a high standard, with everything you could possibly need (except a full length mirror). We loved the interior and the views of the street below. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to be somewhere lively with access to fabulous restaurants, bars and beaches, and to those who comfort and style are important.Sad to leave but will be back! "Gorgeous apartment in ideal location"

"I stumbled across this place when I was looking for somewhere to stay in Bridport. I'm so glad that I booked it as it is absolutely gorgeous. It is located right on Bucky Doo Square and next to the Arts Centre. So location is fantastic and a perfect base to explore the town, vintage and antique shops and the plethora of wonderful restaurants and bakeries. The apartment itself has been finished to a very high standard. There is a large living and kitchen room, a bedroom with a free standing bath and a big additional shower room with twin sinks. All rooms are decorated very stylishly and but also with a nod to comfort. There are old books everywhere which is a lovely touch - it's great fun to read through these"

"it's like a 5 star hotel"

“Many places advertise luxury but this really means it. It's like a 5 star hotel. If you want a town stay in the heart of Bridport this is it. An antique bookshop downstairs, an Arts Centre next door and a beautifully revived Cinema/Theatre 200 yards away (Electric Palace). All this so close to a beach (Burton Beach) and beautiful countryside. Thanks Katie for creating a lovely place. Great communication and easy check in. Be prepared for a bit of a walk from the car park if you have a lot of stuff but I'm just being picky for the sake of balance!”

"Luxury boutique apartment"

“I recently stayed at the Book Club and had the most incredible weekend. Katie was so helpful with her recommendation's of things to do, places to see and where to eat and drink that this formed the itinerary for our trip. The apartment is super high-end luxury and has a very boutique and chic style about it. It's located in the heart of Bridport and has a beautiful and quaint antique bookshop downstairs. There is an arts centre next door that shows theatre productions and art exhibitions. There's a cinema a couple of minutes walk away. There is a farmers market, antiques market, fantastic places to go for brunch/coffee, cosy pubs and a vast array of amazing restaurants. To summarise, this is a perfect apartment in a perfect location.”

"A real gem"

"We absolutely loved staying at the Art Studio. The flat is freshly (and beautifully) decorated, right in the centre of Bridport. It's small yet feels spacious and bright. Super-comfortable bed. We loved that you can hear the town clock chime every fifteen minutes (though perhaps not ideal for a light sleeper!). We visited for a whole week, and would gladly have stayed longer. Bridport packs a punch - lots of great restaurants, theatre and cinema, twice-weekly market and a big antique and vintage scene, not to mention the stunning Jurassic Coast a few minutes away and other must-visit towns nearby. Katie gave us a whole list of great recommendations, which were very welcome, and was a helpful and patient host. This flat is a real gem - we'd love to go back."

"Ideal place to relax"

"My wife and I stayed at the "Art studio" for a couple of nights as a base to explore the Jurassic coast. Wow, what a beautifully decorated and furnished apartment! The ideal place to relax and unwind after a day out walking. Centrally located in Bridport with all that the market town has to offer, and only a short drive away from the beach. The building also houses a charming bookshop, which is well worth a visit. Katie was lovely to deal with, and full of recommendations, the only problem being that there wasn't enough time to do everything, so we hope to return for another stay."
