Book heaven
These are two luxurious, modern and amazingly positioned flats in the dead centre of Bridport, in a glorious Grade-2 Listed Georgian building. The flats are just next to the Arts centre, and are perched on top of an excellent antiquarian bookshop. Bucky-Doo square (between the bookshop and the Georgian town hall) is the focal point for the twice weekly antiques and general market, which takes over most of the town. There are many excellent cafés and restaurants nearby, and Bridport is turning into a foodie heaven.
Bridport has transformed itself over 40 years, and is a vibrant small town with a loads of cultural activities, pop-up restaurants, interesting retail (including a huge 'antiques' quarter in an old industrial yard), an Arts Centre, another refurbished arts theatre/cinema, a literary festival in November each year, another festival celebrating screen adaptations of literature, a food festival, a beer festival, and even a festival celebrating silly hats.
